Wutaishan Airport, the airport for Mount Wutai, is preparing for its 2016/2017 winter-spring flight schedule running from Oct 30, 2016 to Mar 25, 2017.

Routes to China’s top summer resort Kunming, and Northeast China’s “Ice City” Harbin, will be added after the 2016/2017 winter-spring schedule gets underway.

The airport is also planning to add more routes during the Spring Festival travel rush in order to meet customer demand.

Wutaishan Airport’s marketing division will continue to enhance its relationship with airlines, tourist agencies, and sales agents, in order to help efficiently deliver the winter-spring schedule.

Since its became operational last December, the airport has opened routes connecting China’s seven major tourist cities, namely Haikou, Guilin, Tianjin, Chongqing, Shanghai, Yinchuan, and Guangzhou. It has now developed into a vital hub for visitors touring Mount Wutai, with a total of 88,032 passengers using the airport since it opened.
