Meng said that China and Peru have a long history of friendship. Pushed by the leaders of the two countries, the Sino-Peru relationship has been upgraded into a comprehensive strategic partnership, according to Meng.

China is willing to work closely with Peru to deepen cooperation in every possible field, and bring the relationship between the two countries to a new high, Meng said.

Meng said that judicial exchanges between China and Peru are an important part of the bilateral relationship.

He expressed his wishes that law enforcement departments in both countries can work closely together, in a coordinated and pragmatic way. He added that the two sides could learn from each other, providing sound judicial oversight for economic cooperation and promoting judicial exchanges.

Víctor Ticona echoed Meng's comments, as he expressed his wishes for closer cooperation with China in the judicial sector.
