China Law Society has held 100 consultative meetings since 2015
BEIJING, Oct. 5 (Xinhua) -- China Law Society (CLS) has held 100 legislation expert consultative meetings since January 2015, the society announced.
A total of 67 laws, 27 administrative laws and regulations, and six important regulations formulated by ministries have been discussed at the meetings.
The legislation expert consultative meetings are a platform for experts from legal departments, colleges, universities and research institutes to exchange insights and opinions on law-making.
The meetings serve as a bridge between the state legislation organs and legal experts, said Chen Jiping, executive deputy director of CLS.
"We will continue to improve the institution of the meetings, establish a group of experts and explore incentive mechanisms for the meetings," Chen said.
