治理非法社会组织(zhìlǐ fēifǎ shèhuì zǔzhī): Regulating unregistered social organizations
The Ministry of Civil Affairs has vowed to take multiple measures to regulate social organizations that are not registered with civil affairs departments.
The ministry, along with public security departments, will first arrange a special inspection targeting unauthorized social organizations, which will mainly focus on cracking down on those social organizations that collect money in the name of serving national strategy. The ministry will also encourage the public to report any unregistered social organizations, and publish a list of these social organizations.
It will also enhance information sharing and cooperation with related departments, such as the department of industry and commerce and cyberspace administration, to further crack down on social organizations operating without the necessary certification. Social organizations that support or help illegal social organizations will be punished according to law.
The enforcement of related laws and regulations on social organizations will also be strengthened.
