Li Bai proved to be the great romantic poet in ancient China.

He visited Mount Tai in April 742 and stayed for a while, during which he wrote a lot of poems about the mountain, including Six Poems on Visiting Taishan Mountain, Liangfuyin and Verse about Regret.

In autumn of the same year, Li came to Culai Mount, on the southern foot of Mount Tai, for the third time. His inscription of “Peak of Unique Beauty” still exists on Culai Mount today.

Li's poems about Mount Tai not only showcase fantastic beauty of the mount but also have realistic nature.
