Shandong builds folk custom exhibition halls across its counties
Since 2015, Shandong province has popularized historical and cultural projects by displaying them in exhibition halls located across its counties.
The exhibitions are organized by the Shandong Provincial Department of Culture in order to promote the good work the province is doing to highlight its unique local features.
In the process, the government has invested heavily in researching historic relics and archeological discoveries found, as well as putting them on display for the public.
The historic and cultural exhibitions provide a public service to boost the inherent values and wisdom found in China's ancient culture, as well as preserving the remnants of history and promoting local tourism.
Up to now, 105 counties across Shandong province have established historical and cultural exhibition halls, which extend to locations across 121 towns and 268 local communities.
