Tai'an bureau of agriculture forges ties with China Mobile
The Tai'an municipal bureau of agriculture recently inked a cooperation agreement with the Tai'an Branch of China Mobile to jointly promote the development of "Internet plus Modern Agriculture".
According to the agreement, the two sides will work together to boost the city's agricultural modernization in seven ways including bringing information technology into villages and peasant households, facilitating rural e-commerce, enhancing communication infrastructure construction in rural areas, furthering an agricultural bid data application and upgrading the city's agricultural information network service system.
The two sides will also work together to conduct related technical training to improve the information technology application in rural areas. Detailed interpretation of the integration of Internet and modern agriculture and the Shandong provincial agricultural information service platform will be provided to peasants in a bid to increase their income through e-commerce.
