2018 Tai’an tourism marketing promotion event was held at Taishan Fanta Wild Adventure Park on the evening of Feb 10, which is one of Tai’an’s strategies to publicize Tai’an as an ideal tourism spot.

At the event, visitors were treated to a visual feast of lanterns, whose design comes from France’s Lamplight Festival. Besides, they will also enjoy delicious local specialties, watch performances, and take part in various kinds of folk activities.

In 2017, Tai’an has received tourists over 70 million, an increase of 12.35% compared with 2016. And the tourism revenue has reached 77.43 billion yuan ($12.2 billion), increasing by 17.03%. In 2018, Tai’an will advance the renovation of historical sites and development of cities and seek more ways to publicize its tourism spots.
The Spring Festival gala of 2018 will be held at Tai’an, through which more and more people in China and abroad will know Tai’an. And this is also a good opportunity to show the glamour of Tai’an’s culture and history.
In order to hold a wonderful Spring Festival gala, Tai’an will make special efforts to enhance the quality of its service such as the infrastructure and develop more tourism programs.
In addition, Tai’an will also launch a series of events, such as striking the bell to wish for a wonderful year and climbing the Tai Mountain to pray for a good luck.
Tai’an will also try to further develop its tourism industry in 2018. For example, it will enhance its brand image of the city, promote more special tourism programs and attract more foreign tourists.
