Chunqiu ancient town becomes a national 4A-level scenic spot

The Chunqiu ancient town in Feicheng county became another national 4A level scenic spot in Tai'an city, East China's Shandong province, according to a list released by Shandong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism.

The Chunqiu ancient town has developed into a large-scaled tourism resort featuring culture and architecture in Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC). It consists of two axis, two rivers, a park and six squares.

Chunqiu Square, the key spot for attracting visitors, presents profound urban defense and courtesy cultures in Spring and Autumn Period. Temple fair square is a place displaying religious culture and local bazaar culture. Tourists can learn various schools of thought and cultures of that period and enjoy traditional operas. The scenic spot is free of charge for the public.
