Tai'an seeks more investment and cooperation
Hosted by the Taishan Chamber of Commerce, an entrepreneur symposium was held to discuss the city's development on Jan 16 in Tai'an, East China's Shandong province.
More than 200 distinguished guests, including government officials, representatives from Shandong Chamber of Commerce and entrepreneurs from across the country gathered together to share insights on the development opportunities in Tai'an with the city sparing no efforts in replacing old growth divers with new ones.
Zhan Baowei, member of the standing committee of CPC Tai'an municipal committee, detailed the guests on the city's economic and social development as well as the city's excellent investment and business environment.
Zhan hopes that the participants frequently visit Tai'an in the future to explore more areas to cooperate in with local enterprises and to help boost the city's international profile.
Liu Dianxin, president of Huatong Holding Group, a Tai'an-based enterprise and chairman-unit of the Taishan Chamber of Commerce, said that in the past year, the Taishan Chamber of Commerce has worked hard to build cooperation platforms for local enterprises and encourage entrepreneurs to innovate and start businesses.
Liu said that with the joint efforts of all member units, Taishan Chamber of Commerce will gather more merchants and make bigger contributions towards the city's development.
