Tai'an ancient villages worth a summer visit
As temperatures rise, cool, natural, tranquil ancient villages are increasingly appealing.
Here are some recommended ancient villages in Tai'an, East China's Shandong province.
1. Liyu village (里峪村)
Liyu village, located on the western side of Mount Tai, enjoys a pleasant climate and lush vegetation. It is a renowned "longevity village" and is surrounded by mountains and water.
Historical relics can be found in surrounding areas such as the Great Wall of Qi, built during the Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC).

2. Shangquan village (上泉村)
