Feicheng helps boost rural culture
Chaoquan town in Feicheng, a county-level city in East China's Shandong province, is ramping up efforts to revitalize its rural culture and further boost local economic development.
The town is working to construct a series of cultural supporting facilities and plans to establish a pottery culture museum as well as an apple planting culture square to highlight the town’s biggest cultural industries.
The town invited professional dance teachers to organize dancing courses for locals. More than 10 interest-oriented teams focusing on Tai Chi, square dancing and fitness were set up to improve cultural services in villages.
The town also hosted more than 60 cultural events to promote its traditional folk culture, focusing on lantern festivals and summer carnivals.
