Tai'an counties included in China's top 100 for industrial development

Xintai and Feicheng, two county-level cities in Tai'an, have been included among China's top 100 counties in terms of industrial development in 2020.

The list was recently released by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology. According to the list, the top 100 industrial counties are distributed throughout 17 provinces, regions, and cities.

The combined GDP of the top 100 counties was 9.4 trillion yuan ($1.43 trillion), making up over 10 percent of the national economy.

Feicheng boasts strong investment potential, focuses strongly on scientific and technological innovation, and is promoting ecofriendly development.

The city's regional gross domestic product reached 69.02 billion yuan in 2019, ranking first among all counties and districts in Tai'an.
