A forum on acupuncture treatment in traditional Chinese medicine was held in Tai'an, East China's Shandong province on June 2. The forum invited 12 experts and scholars from home and abroad in the field share views and discuss key issues in acupuncture treatment.

The forum has been held for three times and has developed into a brand event with international influence. It provided a platform for medical exchanges. The event has practical significance to improve the acupuncture treatment in Tai'an and boost the intelligent development of healthcare industry in the city.

Tai'an government signed cooperative agreements with Shandong Traditional Chinese Medicine University during the forum to build an artificial intelligence acupuncture research institute, an acupuncture education and training base, and other healthcare service platforms. A free medical consultation clinic activity was held after the forum.
