Tai'an expo highlights stir-fried tea technique

The China Taishan Tea Expo and the sixth Taishan Stir-fried Tea Technique Competition were held on Oct 9 in Tai'an, Shandong province.

Representatives from 25 tea enterprises showcased stir-fried tea techniques at the event. The expo also hosted a apromotion event for Taishan Tea products. More than 40 tea companies set up booths to promote their tea products.

In recent years, Tai'an is making efforts to promote tea industry development and has made achievements in introducing seedling, promoting large-scale planting, and developing tea cultural products. Taishan Green Tea and Taishan Black Tea have obtained geographical indication certification for agricultural products. Tea industry has increased locals' income and has been playing an increasingly important role in promoting rural revitalization.
