Tai'an achieves over $3b worth of investments at CIIE
A total of 28 investment projects for Tai'an with a total value of 21 billion yuan ($3.28 billion) were reached during an investment and cooperation conference between Shanghai and Tai'an at the ongoing 4th China International Import Expo.
Zhang Tao, mayor of Tai'an city led a delegation to participate in the event. Zhang said that Tai'an has conducted close exchanges with Shanghai in business and tourism, which lays a solid foundation to expand cooperation between the two cities.
Tai'an will continue to carry out industrial transfers in Shanghai and its surrounding areas, and strengthen trade and economic cooperation between them, Zhang added.
Zhang also noted at the conference that "We are striving to create a sound business environment and provide the best services to enterprises invested in Tai'an so that they can enjoy the preferential policies and economic benefits."
In addition, the delegation has visited many enterprises from Shanghai to create more cooperation projects with Tai'an. They have also discussed future opportunities with Tai'an enterprises that are exhibiting at this year's CIIE and actively participated in the "Shandong RCEP High-level Dialogue on Economic and Trade Cooperation" activity.
