A total of 37 enterprises in Tai'an, Shandong province were awarded the title of 'time-honored brand' at a ceremony held on Nov 24.

These enterprises are mainly engaged in four sectors, covering craft gifts, food and beverages, healthcare, as well as agricultural products.

The awarded enterprises include Tai'an Longzang Shenquan Trading Company, Taishan Chaxi Valley Agricultural Development Company, Taishan Wine Group, and Shandong Xiexianghao Catering Management Company.

The ceremony was jointly held by the Tai'an municipal bureau of commerce, the Tai'an municipal bureau of finance, the Tai'an municipal bureau of culture and tourism, as well as the Tai'an municipal administration for market regulation.

"It's our great honor to be designated a time-honored brand enterprise," said Liu Tingting, manager of Taishan Chaxi Valley Agricultural Development Company. "We will continue to improve the quality of our products as we are ramping up efforts to promote the time-honored brand."

As an important part of the city's intangible cultural heritage items, time-honored brand enterprises have achieved fruitful results in recent years, with several of their products having been exported to overseas markets.

The Tai'an Time-honored Brand Enterprise Association was established in May 2021. It aims to promote the development and bolster the success of time-honored brand enterprises in Tai'an.
