Baxianshan National Nature Reserve launched a preferential campaign for Tianjin students who have passed the 2009 national college entrance examination.
These students are entitled to a one-day free visit to the Baxianshan National Nature Reserve as long as they present their college admittance notices to the entrance guards.
The campaign will last for two months, from Mid-July to Mid-September. Parents, who accompany the students, are entitled to enter at half price.
Baxianshan National Nature Reserve is located in the northeast of Jixian County, at the core of Beijing, Tianjin and Chengde Cities. The reserve covers an area of 5360 hectares with almost 20 mountains over 900 meters.
Baxianshan translates to the mountain where eight fairies stay. Baxianshan National Nature Reserve is named after the legend that eight fairies once had a rest in the mountain.
