A 10-year-old boy who was rescued from the guardrails outside the window of his seventh floor apartment in Tianjin municipality last week said he was practicing acrobatics when he fell off the edge.
The 10-year-old's neighbor, who lives on the sixth floor of the building, spotted the boy walking on the guardrails and asked him to stop. The boy, however, paid no heed and was soon stranded midair, with only his T-shirt clinging to the iron fence.
After being rescued, the boy said he lived in the apartment with his acrobatics coach who had locked him in the house and gone out.
"I thought I'd climb down the guardrails, since that's acrobatics practice, too," he said. |
