TEDA and China HP Company signed a strategic cooperation agreement

The Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA) and China Hewlett-Packard Co. have agreed to establish a new data center in the Binhai New District.

According to the agreement, China HP Co. will set up the Tianjin HP Data Center Design Engineering Co. TEDA, established in 1984 as a national level development zone, now is part of the Binhai New District.

HP has 320,000 staff members worldwide, and in 2009 its business volume amounted to 114.6 billion US dollars. It is ranked 32 among the world’s top 500 companies.
