Audience are in stitches as two stand-up comedians perform at Qianxiangyi Teahouse in Tianjin, Aug 29, 2010. Although it originated in Beijing during the Qing Dynasty (1644–1911), crosstalk flourished in Tianjin in the 1940s but waned in popularity until this decade, with a great many rising comedians honing their styles and trying out new pieces. There are now dozens of popular teahouses in the city staging crosstalk performances. Audiences can laugh the night away every weekend at the packed teahouses. [Photo/Asianewsphoto]
