The 2nd phase facilities of the Dongjiang Free Trade Port Zone passed the pre-acceptance

On December 20, 2011, Tianjin Customs accepted the 2nd phase facilities of the Dongjiang Free Trade Port Zone, which are ready for the official national acceptance now.

The Dongjiang Free Trade Port Zone was officially established with the approval of the State Council on August 31, 2006. It covers an area of 10 square kilometers, and is the largest bonded port in China. On December 6, 2007, the first phase of 4 sq km area passed the official national acceptance.

The Dongjiang Free Trade Port Zone possesses the functions of international transfer, international distribution, international procurement and international entrepot trade. It is also a special customs surveillance zone with the most preferential policies in China. Nearly 230 enterprises with the total capital of $1.372 billion have registered in the Dongjiang bonded port.
