Somerset Moon Festival Celebration

As a signature service of Somerset Tianjin, the Moon Festival celebration for 2012 was held at DK 1308, near the Haihe River. Guests of the three Somerset properties in Beijing, Somerset Olympic Tower, Somerset Youyi and Somerset International Building, and representatives from Somerset Beijing gathered together for a cheerful night.

Every year, the Somerset staff works very hard to plan and prepare for the gala, in an effort to make every event different from previous ones. Besides the unique venue, Somerset invited some clowns to play with kids, making parents feel free to get to know their neighbors and enjoy authentic German beers with each other.

The guests fully got involved in the gala by participating in lantern riddle guessing, a Chinese tradition for Moon Festival. Although the guests are from different countries, they were all active in racking their brains. Guests also received surprise gifts from the lucky draw. Each winner received a bottle of wine.

The gala ended with the unveiling of a full moon, a special effect projected on the background board, symbolizing a complete success of the event and a smooth year for everyone.
