Wudang won the bid to host the ninth National Photography Arts Festival

According to a news source reported on February 3, the ninth National Photography Arts Festival will be held at the Wudang Tourism Special Economic Zone from May 19 to 23, this year.
The National Photography Arts Festival is the biggest photography festival in China hosted by the Chinese Photographers Society. Since its beginning in 1989, the National Photography Arts Festival has successfully been held in Beijing, Fujian province, Guizhou province, Qinghai province and Yunnan province. So far, the National Photography Arts Festival has become a grand gathering for photography exhibitions, communication of skills, and the discussion of ideas. It has gained a broad influence in art circles and society.
The ninth National Photography Arts Festival is hosted by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Publicity Department of Hubei province, and Chinese Photographers Society. The organizing units include the Publicity Department of Shiyan city and the Management Committee of Wudang’s Tourism Special Economic Zone. The content of the ninth National Photography Arts Festival will be composed of an opening ceremony, the China Photography Awards Ceremony, a themed photography exhibition, a prize giving ceremony for the Wudang Photography Competition, Wudang visits and a photography exhibition themed “South to North Water Diversion Project”. Hundreds of excellent photographers will go to Wudang to attend the National Photography Arts Festival at the scheduled time.
