A British girl named Lucia has followed her Wudang Kungfu master Yuan Limin, to teach Wudang Kungfu in European countries.
Since 2002, Lucia has been practicing and learning Tai Chi from the master of Tai Chi Young. Three years later she went to Wudang Mountains to meet Yuan Limin, a 15th-generation descendant of Wudang Xuanwu.
Lucia lived in Wudang Mountains for 6 months and studied Tai Chi Quan and Tai Chi Sword for 6 to 8 hours a day. "In order to understand Tai Chi better, I begin to learn Chinese," she said. She went back to Britain and studied Chinese at London Kings University and in 2010, after recommendation from the college, Lucia went to Beijing Normal University. Once her studies had been completed, she moved back to the Wudang Mountains and officially became an apprentice to master Yuan Limin. Soon after, she won a silver medal in the 5th Wudang Tai Chi Quan International competition.
In 2011, Lucia realized that her master's dream was to make Wudang Kungfu world famous and so she began to teach Wudang Kungfu in Britain.
Nowadays, Lucia has taken the responsibility of spreading Wudang Kungfu overseas and is the primary contact for cross-culture communication.
