45 Chinese and Italian Museums attend seminar

On March 8-9, the Chinese and Italian museum exhibition seminar, jointly organized by the Hubei Provincial Museum and the Italian Casa dei Carraresi Museum, was held in the Wuhan ChuTian (GDH) International Hotel.

Representatives of 45 first-class museums from Italy, Taiwan and the Chinese mainland were in attendance. The Wudang Museum introduced the "Wudang Taoist Culture Exhibition" to delegates.

Officials of the Wudang Museum presented the chairman of the Union of Italian museums and director of the Casa dei Carraresi Museum Madero with the Taihe Wudang, a book displayed at the exhibition.

On March 11, sixteen directors of five museums including the Taiwan History Museum reached an initial agreement with the Hubei Provincial Museum. They visited Wudang Mountain, the local museum and watched a feature film. All expressed intentions of introducing the exhibition to their respective museums as soon as possible.

On April 4, the exhibition, "Tao gives birth to everything" will commencein the Hubei Provincial Museum, which is sponsored by the Hubei Provincial Cultural Bureau, co-hosted by the Hubei Provincial Museum, Museum of Shiyan and Wudang Museum and participated by the Wudang Taoist Association.

During the opening ceremony, Wudang Museum will sign a formal exchange agreement.
