The monument for the village chief forum has been completed

The monument for the village chief forum has been completed in Baxianguan village. The length of the monument is 12.6m, the height is 2.8m and it weighs 80t. The names of more than 100 village chiefs are on it and the monument presents the concept of "peace and harmony" in Wudang culture.

In September of 2012, the twelfth national village chief forum will be held on Wudang Mountain. The theme of the forum is "enrich by tourism and harmonious development". The activities of the forum include the 2012 China Green Village Annual Meeting, the village official experience-sharing sessions, the university students village official exchange meeting, the cultural monument unveiling ceremony, the establishment of Chinese Farmer Travel Agency, and finally, the strategic cooperation agreement signing ceremony between the Wudang Mountain special region and the top 100 villages in China.

All the activities are organized by the Shiyan municipal government and management committee of the Wudang Mountain special region and are co-held by the Baxianguan village.
