Tai Chi Lake Cup photography exhibition kicks off

The Tai Chi Lake Cup 2013 China Wudang International Photography Exhibition kicked off on July 12. Photographic works are being collected around the country, according to the Wudang Photographer Association.
The total prize of the exhibition has surpassed 1 million yuan ($163,000). Five first-place prizes will be given out covering the subjects of Wudang scenery, Tai Chi Lake scenery, Wudang humanity, Wudang series photography and Wudang creative photography. Ten second-place prizes, 20 third-place prizes and 165 honorable mentions will also be awarded. The deadline for submissions is June 30, 2014.
Winter
The submissions are divided into four parts in four seasons, namely, July 12, 2013, to Oct 7, 2013, for summer; Oct 8, 2013, to Jan 3, 2014, for autumn; Jan 4, 2014, to April 1,2014, for winter; and April 2, 2014, to June 30, 2014, for spring. A total of 200 works will be selected in each season.
The China Wudang International Photography Exhibition has been held twice, attracting large numbers of photographers to visit the Wudang Mountains.
