Cesar, a 43-year-old Spanish national, practices Wudang kung fu with other disciples in Wudang Mountains.
More than 40 visitors from Spain and France began their two-week study of Wudang kung fu in Wudang Mountains on Aug 22.
Wudang kung fu is said to have many health benefits, and one 43-year-old Spanish disciple, Cesar, has mastered the skills so well that it is not immediately apparent that he only has one arm.
Cesar has been practicing Wudang kung fu for more than 10 years and this is the fifth time that he has taken part in such a program at Wudang Mountains.
Cesar said that as he lives in a big city, he arrives at Wudang Mountains feeling tense and agitated, but then the day-to-day rhythms change and time loses its importance and that is the benefit of practicing taijiquan or Wudang kung fu.
He added that one’s mind goes further, you pay more attention to the present and you start to enjoy your life.
Cesar runs a company in Spain, and he only has time to practice taijiquan and Wudang kung fu for six to eight hours every day when he visits Wudang Mountains.
In recent years, more than 3,000 foreign nationals from countries such as Italy, Malaysia, Singapore and Britain have visited Wudang Mountains to learn Wudang kung fu.
