Three Gorges Dam Music Festival concludes

The seven-day Three Gorges Dam Music Festival ended with a gala at Quyuan Square, Zigui county of central China's Hubei province, on Sept 25.

Lu Xinyan, known as an experienced director of large-scale TV shows, directed the two-hour gala, and the organizers also invited hosts from CCTV and the local TV channel to take part.

Su Yongkang, a pop singer from Hong Kong, Liu Xiangyun, one of the champions of Xingguang Dadao, a popular talent show in China, and many international music groups all put together a musical treat for the audience.

The festival, which included music performances of different styles, attracted more than 30,000 visitors, and the organizers said the Three Gorges Dam Scenic Area hopes to make it a regular event, so as to create a new tourism brand: the Three Gorges Dam Music Festival.
