Yunxi anticipates one million tourists from Xi'an next year

The launch of a new program of the Yanta district government, concerning subsidized tours for residents, was held in Yunxi county, Shiyan city, Hubei province on Oct 19, hubeitour.gov.cn reported. Yunxi is the most popular travel destination for residents of Yanta district, which is located in Xi'an city, capital of Shaanxi province, regarding subsidized tours outside of the province.

The Yunxi Tourism Administration has made great efforts to launch this program, which is also expected to benefit Xi'an's tourism market. Yanta district has also established a partnership with the Wulong River Scenic Area of Yunxi county, and officials vowed to enable one million Xi'an citizens to travel to Yunxi county next year. The two parties are set to link their official websites and co-develop a series of tourism products.

Guests attending the launch had the opportunity to enjoy a performance of the Xuesong choir from Yanta, followed by a night city tour of Yunxi. And, the following day, representatives of Yunxi city had arranged a group tour to Wulong River Scenic Area.
