Taiwan Taoist delegation prays for cross-Straits peace

A Taoist delegation of 20 people from Taiwan recently visited Wudang Mountains in Shiyan city, Hubei province, for Taoist cultural exchange, wudangshan.gov.cn reported on Nov 22.
Led by Director-General Wu Guanghui, the delegation was made up of members from Taiwan Taoist Cultural Group Federation and Taoist Master Federation. They visited Zixiao Palace and communicated with Wudang Taoist Association. The delegation also worshiped Emperor Xuanwu (also known as the North Emperor), praying for peaceful reunification of the cross-Straits.
These Taiwan guests are local Taoist masters and retired Lieutenant Generals, and director-general Wu also serves as central party consultant of Kuomintang and municipal advisor of Xinbei city in Taiwan.
Other officials received the Taiwan delegation including Hang Yuanxiang, executive deputy secretary-general of China Council for the Promotion of Peaceful National Reunification, Yin Zuobin, deputy researcher of Hubei Provincial Party Committee United Front Work Department and Li Fuguang, vice-chairman of the China Taoist Association.
