Health promotion and disease prevention initiative held at Wudang

The Hubei Provincial Health and Family Planning Committee, Hubei Provincial Tourism Bureau and Wudang Mountains Tourism and Economy Special Region held a health promotion and disease prevention initiative on Wudang Mountains, Shiyan city in Hubei province on Dec 26,wudangshan.gov.cn reported.

Professor Liu Yong of Wuhan Union Hospital gave a lecture on the treatment of pain and also on osteoporosis, and more than 20 experts, from Wuhan Union Hospital, Shiyan Taihe Hospital, Asian Heart Disease Hospital and Xianning Matang Rheumatism Hospital, offered advice free of charge.

The initiative attracted professionals in the tourism industry, volunteers who work in the scenic area and many local residents and tourists. The experts also answered questions on various conditions affecting travelers in the area and how to prevent them.
