Wudang website moves onto ifeng and Tianya

Wudang Mountains online tourist page recently appeared on ifeng.com and China’s popular BBS Tianya community. The move will give netizens the full measure of Wudang’s charm.
The two websites focused on eating, living, traveling, shopping and entertainment in Wudang and incorporated local scenery, culture, travel tips, distinctive food, anecdotes, tourist highlights and visitors’ travelogues on the page to boost Wudang’s image and make netizens yearn to visit the place.
In recent years, Wudang has continued to step up efforts in its publicity work. The local administration has aimed to build Wudang into a brand and get in touch with its market by strengthening network marketing.
It carried out special image promotions over Sina, Tencent, Xinhua, ifeng and Tianya, and used live broadcasts, pictures and text, news releases and a special website to promote its tourist routes and plans.
It worked with Baidu to stimulate the local tourist company’s enthusiasm in network marketing, and publicized Wudang’s official tourist website and Wudang Tourism Bureau’s official microblog and QR code in promotional materials and activities.
The tourist administration also used the media to play a role in publicity and interaction work.
