More than 200 representatives from over 70 national scenic spots made keynote speeches and held dialogues on how to strengthen cultural research and development, plan media promotions, and standardize the spreading of management information at scenic spots.
They offered various opinions and advice for boosting industrial development. The meeting also reviewed promotions of scenic spots around the country last year.
Wudang Mountains was the first to introduce its tourist attractions at the meeting. Zhou elaborated on Wudang's experiences on advertising, online marketing and market expansion.
"As China’s famous Taoism holy land, Wudang will play a bigger role in popularization of scenic spots information and be actively involved in quality projects of China Landscape and the Historic Sites Association," said Zhou.
She added that the work conference pulled scenic spots closer to the public and enriched promotion forms so that Wudang Mountains will attract more tourists.
