Wudang culture promoted at CIFTIS

The third China Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) ended on June 4 after a five-day run. At the event, a delegation from Wudang Mountains participated in an advertising and promotion campaign in Beijing, wudangshan.gov.cn reported.
Li Faping, vice-mayor of Shiyan, introduced the tourist resources and culture of Wudang Mountains. A martial arts performance by the Wudang kung fu delegation attracted many guests.
Wudang Mountains Tourism and Economy Special Region signed cooperation agreements on cultural performance and tourist infrastructure with two companies in Beijing.
CIFTIS, hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and Beijing Municipal People’s Government, is a large fair approved by the State Council. It has been held each year on May 28 in Beijing since 2012, lasting for five days.
It is the only comprehensive trade in services platform covering 12 areas of trade in services defined by WTO: commerce, communication, construction and engineering, finance, tourism, entertainment, culture and sports, transportation, health and community, education, distribution and environment.
