Wudang tourist flagship store starts trial run on Tmall

An online flagship store for Wudang Mountains tourists is under testing on Tmall.com, a leading Chinese e-commerce site. It is set to be officially launched in August, Wudangshan.gov.cn reports, noting that the Wudang Special Economic Zone government has held a conference to promote the entry of more tourism resources to the store.

After three months of preparation, the flagship store has finished its online construction and preliminary test. It welcomed its first group of visitors during the test run. It is now in the stage of choosing high quality travel resources.
Different from the traditional purchasing system, the online ticket purchasing system appeared with the help of the prevalence of the Internet, cellphones and iPads. It is quite easy for the tourists to book not only train tickets, airline tickets and hotels, they can even book related services.

Li Faping, deputy mayor of Shiyan city, appreciated the achievements and pointed out that the project should be operated under the guidance of a unified plan. Network and financial security should also be concerned. Above all, the flagship store should put the interests of tourists and merchants first.
It is said that following Tmall, the Wudang Mountains tourist store will also be launched on an online platform for Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC).
