The value of the Wudang Taoism Tea brand has reached 1.55 billion yuan ($249.6 million), rising to 17th place in national tea brand ranking, according to a 2014 program that evaluates the value of tea brands in China. It has retained the crown as the top brand in Hubei province for the third year of the annual ranking.
In recent years, the Hubei government has rendered full support to the brand in its self-promotion and application for National Well-Known Trademark. Wudang Taoism Tea has made a remarkable achievement in raising its notability and brand value. The authorities have granted it the titles of "China's Most Influential Regional Public Brand" and "Top Cultural Tea of China."
