Wudang Taichi – highlight of Sino-France RV Tour in China

The departure ceremony of the Sino-France RV Tour in China kicked off in Shanghai last Friday. The event is hosted by the trade development and cooperation center of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) at the intersection of the 50th anniversary of Sino-France ties and the third session of a French RV tour in Eurasia.
The team of recreational vehicles was expected to arrive at the Wudang Mountains on Tuesday. According to a principal of Xiazhou International Trade Services, the team will first go to Taichi Lake on arrival. The next day they will climb the Wudang Mountains to enjoy the beauty and architecture there, and get a close look at Taoism culture and Wudang martial arts.

Wudang taichi is the highlight of the RV trip in China. At the departure ceremony, famous Taoist priest Wuweizi performed Tai Chi Chuan (a kind of traditional Chinese shadow boxing) on stage, and 120 teenagers from France gave a group performance of Wudang Tai Chi Chuan. After that, RVs with posters of Wudang and Taichi Lake departed from Shanghai to travel to eight provinces and 19 cities.
After the stop in Wudang, the RV team will go along the Silk Road to the Three Gorges. The whole journey will last 30 days and cover 8,000 kilometers.
