Wudang Mountains to hold Taoist photography competition

A preparatory meeting was held on Nov 21 in the Wudang Mountains, Hubei province, for the upcoming Wudang Cup China Taoist Mountains Photography Competition, which is due to take place from Nov 27-29.

Some 200 photographers will take part in the competition to capture Wudang's wonderful landscape and profound Taoist cultural scenes with their lenses. The photos will also promote Wudang's brand as one of the world's cultural heritages.

During the meeting, government officials stressed the importance of the contest's theme to fully showcase Wudang's distinctive culture. They also made the publicity work a priority to enhance the influence of the event.
