The central government released the fourth batch of representative projects and expanded directory of national intangible heritage on Dec 3.

Kung fu from the Wudang Mountains in Shiyan, Hubei province, made the list of representative projects of national intangible heritage.

To date, 10 cultural heritages of Shiyan have been listed, including Wudang kung fu, erhuang opera, Wujiagou village folktales, the Wudang temple fair, Wudang Taoist temple music, Wudang god opera, Yin Jifu (a man who lived during the Western Zhou Dynasty, c.11th century-771 BC), the tale of Shiyan, the Phoenix lamp dance of Xunyang, and the Double Seventh Festival (Qi Xi Festival) of Xunxi county.
