The Wudang Tourism Economic Zone of Shiyan, Hubei province, hosted a lecture to study the Fourth Plenum of the 18th Central Committee of the CPC on Dec 16. Zhou Yezhong, director of the Comparative Constitution Research Center of Wuhan University, was invited to give a lecture for the leaders of the zone.

Centering on the requirements, aims, main tasks and fundamental principles of the rule of law, Zhou's lecture focused on the importance of strengthening the cultivation of the rule of law and the implementation of laws.

Li Faping, deputy mayor of Shiyan, also delivered a speech at the lecture. He encouraged the participants to study and practice the requirements of the rule of law and set up the scientific outlook on development.
