Karamay students compete in street dancing skills

The 3rd Student Hip-hop Championship took place on Dec 21, 2014, attracting the participation of nearly 200 primary and secondary students in Karamay.

The event was hosted by the Karamay Municipal Education Bureau and the Youth League Committee. Eight professional street dancers were invited to be the judges.

Students showed their dancing skills in different competitions such as b-boying and freestyle street dance.

In the end, Du Fengpei, a student from Karamay Experimental Middle School won the first prize in the b-boying competition and Li Zhijiang from Karamay High School was crowned as the freestyle champion. Karamay Experimental Middle School was awarded the title of "the best team".
