A Turkmenistan delegation came to Karamay city, in the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region to receive personnel training at its training base for oil and gas engineering on June 20.

The delegation consisted of experts from the Turkmenistan Oil and Gas Department and officials of Amu Darya Gas Development Company of China National Petroleum Corporation. Officials of Xinjiang Oilfield Co accompanied the guests.

The Turkmenistan delegates knew general information about the training base.

The delegates said it was the first time that the two sides had exchanged ideas on personnel training and they were mainly concerned about the training facility and strength of gas engineer education. However, after the visit, the delegates said the training environment and capability of Karamay’s oil and gas engineering education was better than expected.
