Xiao Hongwei, general manager of the CNPC Lubricant Co, led a delegation from the company to the Xinjiang Central Asia Commodity Exchange Center Co Ltd in Karamay on Dec 12.
Xiao inspected the operations of the online exchange platform run by the Xinjiang Central Asia Commodity Exchange Center Co Ltd and learned about cooperation between the two companies.
Xiao expressed his expectations for further cooperation with the company, and expressed his hopes that his company will keep exploring the new online market for lubricant sales with the support of the preponderant online exchange platform of the Karamay Central Asia Commodity Exchange Center.
Geng Ping, president of the Xinjiang Central Asia Commodity Exchange Center Co Ltd, guided the delegation and introduced the online sales of oil products through the Central Asia Commodity Exchange Center over the last year.
He said that the company will put more efforts into research and development to expand the online sale of oil products and boost sales volumes. The company will strengthen cooperation with CNPC Lubricant to expand the share of lubricant sales across the region and throughout the whole country.
Du Yong, a member of the Karamay standing Party committee, and Xu Jianhui, deputy mayor of Karamay, accompanied the delegation while it inspected Karamay companies and expressed their view that the Karamay government will give its full support to the two companies, with the aim of achieving mutually beneficial development.
