The stage play Dabazha began a national tour of China at Xinjiang Theatre in Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region on Oct 9.
The play depicts people of different ethnic groups living in the same bazaars. The play shows the courage and effort of the people in building a new hometown when Xinjiang implemented the policy of reform and opening-up.
Dabazha was first staged in April 2010 and has since been performed 116 times. The play will travel to Gansu, Sichuan, Jiangsu and Jiangxi provinces, and the municipalities of Shanghai and Chongqing.
