The Fifth Session of the Eighth Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference of Toutunhe district's Committee concluded on Jan 27, receiving 85 proposals in total, covering all walks of life.
The one and a half day event attracted 90 members. Sixty-two proposals have been put on record.

Xue Jihai, Party chief of the district, told attendees at the closing ceremony that the government pays great attention to the proposals from the CPPCC Toutunhe Committee, which acts as an advisory body to the government. The government will continue to take advice from the committee for social and economic development.
