The Yunnan Independent Tour Service Center, the first tourism standardization functional platform with travel agency qualifications in China, was officially put into operation on June 7 in South China’s Yunnan province.

The launch ceremony of the Yunnan Independent Tour Service Center is held on June 7.

The center is a tourism complex incorporating transportation, tourism resources exhibition, information inquiry and service based on the advantageous resources of Yunnan Expo Tourism Holdings, Yunnan Press Media Group, Kunming Jinai International Travel Agency and Yunnan Overseas International Travel Service Co, respectively.

At inauguration day, the center’s key products -- including buses connecting Kunming to its surrounding areas, other provincial cities and prefectures, and neighboring provinces’ tourism destinations -- were open to the public. The bus routes linking different travel attractions are the center’s main services.

In addition, the tourism platform has established 16 tourism resource exhibition areas, where well-planned travel routes and specialty souvenirs were supplied for tourists to Yunnan.
