China will build industrial parks in Bangladesh in 2016 to facilitate its enterprises, said Wang Zijian, economic and commercial counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh.
The industrial parks are expected to attract the producers of clothing, electronics and automobiles. "Chinese enterprises engaging in high-technology R&D are particularly welcome by Bangladesh," said Wang Zijian.

China's government attaches great importance on cooperation with Bangladesh, and has spent four years making agreements with the country on building industrial parks.
"We can say that China is Bangladesh's largest trading partner at present, as turnover between the two is going to reach $13 billion this year," said Wang.
Although Chinese export has gone downhill in recent years, trade with Bangladesh has maintained 20 percent growth, added Wang.

For investment, Wang advised Chinese enterprises to plow into garment manufacturing, infrastructure construction and new energy in Bangladesh.
Wang also encouraged Yunnan province to enhance communication with Bangladesh.
He said, "The annual China-South Asia Expo in Yunnan has attracted many Bangladeshi businessmen and Yunnan could take advantages of this platform to drive bilateral trade."
"Cooperation in culture and tourism will offer great opportunities for Yunnan and Bangladesh," added Wang.
