Yunnan Asia Pacific Environmental Engineering Design and Research is one of the backbone enterprises in China's environmental protection industry, and a leader in Yunnan province. It has two research centers, a "national environment protection and resources recycle technology center" and an "air pollution control and comprehensive utilization research center." It has rights to 22 independent intellectual properties, among which many have been commercialized in the field of water science and technology.
